My name is David Baker and I’m an architect in San Francisco. We work on high density affordable urban infill housing.

And my role in transportation, that’s my hobby. I’m interested in these things because I think the thing about architects is they have a tendency to think inside the property line. Then the property line comes and it’s just “what’s that?” All it is about their building, how they fit in just as a completely separate little isolated entity.

I'm Ron Gremban, I'm the technical lead for Cal Cars, California Cars Initiative. We're promoting plug in hybrids and trying to get the auto companies to build plug in hybrids as a major way of reducing our oil usage and reducing our greenhouse gases from personal transportation.
