“When I envision the year 2050, I envision a time where humans have learned to care for
the Earth. WE will have little carbon dioxide output. We will be conscious about what we
are doing and how we are affecting the planet.

The idea of my poster is to encourage viewers to envision the future and think about how
we can change it. This means walking, riding bicycles, taking public transportation to go
places, or driving fuel-efficient cars such as electric, hybrid and ethanol cars. We can
use hydroelectricity from water, and wind power from windmills. WE can use solar
energy from the sun by installing solar panels on our homes and buildings. We can
reuse and recycle bottles and everyday objects. We can compost food scraps to fertilize
our gardens. And most importantly, we must plant trees. Trees are critical for
sustainability! Trees absorb carbon dioxide emissions and make people happy.

While making my poster, I envisioned a city or town where trees are plentiful and people
work with nature to make a living space that does not pollute the Earth.“
