Details : Community gardens, churches, coffee shops. These are the obvious ways to spur community. How else can we create a sense of community that is all inclusive?

Question:   Why has rooftop gardens in cities and homes not taken off?
Details : Rooftop gardens have great potential. Relating to the blog "Why city block", these gardens could help support the building under it and around it by giving food. Also, it could make more parks in cities available reducing greenhouse gases possibly!? Can you imagine being in a rooftop park in New York on Broadway or Wall Street at night (or day!)!! I believe that this could spark a new trend in cities
